What is CPE in a mobile network?
Customer premises equipment is the device at the subscriber end of the connection — for fixed-wireless access this is typically an indoor or outdoor 5G router that converts the mobile signal into Wi-Fi and Ethernet for a home or business. In private networks it can be an industrial gateway aggregating sensors, cameras or control systems.
Why does CPE selection need to match the radio plan?
A CPE only performs if it supports the exact bands, bandwidths and MIMO configuration the network actually broadcasts. A device that supports n78 at 100 MHz behaves very differently on a network configured for n41 at 60 MHz. Matching device capability to deployed radio configuration is the single largest controllable factor in fixed-wireless customer experience.
Does Quantum handle CPE logistics across the region?
Yes. Dubai is used as the regional staging hub for stocking, configuration, onward delivery and reverse logistics into GCC and MENA markets, which keeps replacement times measured in days rather than shipping cycles.
